Annie and I managed to find time for a little gaming last night.  That is, of course, after I made an emergency run for some Velveeta Cheese Product for Annie’s taco dip.  After she melted many a cube of Velv, we set out for a game of YINSH.

Annie was pretty rusty and was not seeing the board well—she had opportunities to avoid giving me rows and opportunities to create her own but in the end I prevailed 3-0.

We then set out for a game of Carcassonne vanilla with no farming.  A two player game makes meeple management an actual issue.  Annie led nearly the whole game and got dealt cloister after cloister (a cloister fuck?), but when we got to end game scoring, I clawed all the way to 100 points.  Annie demanded a rematch but I had to get home to make Jeff some fajitas.

Today should see some major gaming as well as tomorrow’s Abstract Gaming day.  These are very exciting times.
