Went over to Kassie’s this afternoon for some very tasty split pea soup and games.  I brought Ketchup because that game needs to be spread like a disease.  I taught everyone the rules and we just played a quick game.  Positive reviews, obviously, from everyone involved.

Next up, we played a little Innovation as everyone was in a card gamey mood.  It played relatively fast with four—I was actually expecting a little more down time with everyone picking up the game quickly.  I got to see a lot of new cards (to me) as the first game ended when I tried to draw an 11.  I had just barely the most points to squeak out a win.

Next game saw me take an early dominance in Crowns which I used to pilfer 2’s and 3’s from everyone’s score pile and also a World special achievement with my writing card.  I won the game with 4 achievements!  The tough part of this game with four people is how quickly the end can come if someone takes an early point lead.  Another game that was well received by everyone at the table.

I am off to Saint Paul tonight to do some meddling in their local politics and possibly playing Intrigue, or as Emma calls it:

Emma:  hey

Can you bring that one awesome game that is the one where you lie and try to get your kids in your house?

in other peoples mansions??
Yes, Emma, Yes I Can.
